The larger and newer of two cottages for rent in a compound setting with beautiful heated pool and popular tiki bar. This cottage consists of a full kitchen with oven, fridge, and microwave. It has a dining room, private bath, bedroom with queen bed and a sitting area with couch. There is a front porch for reading and relaxing. A/C, satellite TV, and shared washer dryer. The other residents in the compound share the common areas and are all long time local residents of Key West. Ages range from 20-50 and consist of married and single fun loving characters. Five friendly dogs currently share the gated common areas and even swim occasionally in the pool and sit with you at the bar. Weekdays are quiet since most residents work days, some nights and weekends tend to be very social poolside for cocktails and conversation. If you truly want to experience Key West like a local, this is the place to be.
